Approaches like Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and citizen involvement methods, such as America Speaks and Bhagidaari, provide practical examples of learning in an organizational context with dignity and respect.

The Impact of Technology on Learning

Technology has not only brought about new opportunities for learning but has also, in some cases, hindered it. Computers are often seen as containing the knowledge we need, rather than as tools for creating our own learning experiences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is likely to exacerbate this trend, making it even more challenging for individuals to develop their own learning processes.

While gaming consoles can improve mental agility and learning, we must also consider the dependence on external resources. The brain's reliance on technology has led to a decrease in organizational effectiveness. This disembodied learning and the disconnect between mind, body, and emotion in individual spaces are key challenges.

As Chris Argyris pointed out in 2006, more than just procedures are needed for organizational learning. Theoretical frameworks are necessary to fully understand how AI-based approaches can be applied effectively.
